Level 1 Snowboard
Beginner lessons for those who want to learn the basics. We help you get to know the equipment and training on standing and stopping safely.
Level 2 Snowboard
Able to stop safely, mobile on toe-side and heel side edges. (Pendulum/falling leaf skills).
Level 3 Snowboard
Can complete heel side and toe side turns on gentle green terrain. Learning to link turns. Ready to progress to easy blue runs.
Level 4 Snowboard
Can link turns on blue runs. Learning short turns, carving, off-piste terrain and powder. Can do basic freestyle inside and outside of terrain parks. Progressing towards black runs.

Meeting place: Meet well in advance of class.
We live in the ski school cabin directly opposite the restaurant and behind accommodation building B in Hulderheimen.
Snowboard rental: The price for the hire of ski equipment is not included in the lessons. Price list for ski equipment can be found here: https://sirdal-skisenter.no/skiutleie/ You must order online.
Lift pass: Access to the lift during the lesson is included in the price.
After the lesson:
We have beginner lifts that are free; the rope tow in Hulderheimen & the children's band in Ålsheia. If you want to try any of the other lifts, you need a lift pass. You can order a lift pass by bringing your lift pass to the main office on the first floor of the B building in Hulderheimen.
Alternatively, you can order your own ticket online with the WTP code (long code) on the back of the ski pass. Just follow the instructions online.
Important information:
•Of course it is not allowed to participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol. • Show up at the ski school cabin well before the lesson starts. If you need to hire equipment, this must be booked online in advance to avoid disappointment.
• When you arrive at Skirental to pick up equipment, if there is a queue, please notify the ski rental staff at the kiosk or counter number 1 so that you can be serviced first. Allow plenty of time to set up and for the travel time back to the ski school's meeting point at the ski school cabin. We recommend doing this by car.
• Due to the schedule and respect for other customers, the lesson always ends according to the lesson time given. If you are late, it will be considered events beyond our control and we cannot give that time back at another time. Should there be any delay on our part under any circumstances, this will not affect the length of your lesson.
• Parking is available both at the chairlift and Hulderheimen.
• Should you wish to extend your lesson, please check with the main office for availability.
